DENTON — Lifepoint Rehabilitation (an operating division of Lifepoint Health) and Texas Health Resources have broken ground on a new inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Denton. The facility, named Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Denton, is anticipated to open in 2027 and will be the fifth joint venture rehabilitation hospital for the two organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

The 40-private-patient-room, free-standing hospital will be located at I-35 and West University Drive. It will provide inpatient rehabilitation services for adults who have experienced a loss of function due to conditions such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, and orthopedic surgery.

The project addresses a growing regional need by expanding access to specialized, integrated care in Denton County. Capital Growth Medvest is a medical real estate solutions company that guides healthcare providers on projects from conception to completion.
