SAN ANTONIO — The American Subcontractors Association (ASA) San Antonio Chapter kicked off the new year with a focus on legal protections and strategic planning, according to the association’s January 2026 newsletter.
In his monthly letter, ASA San Antonio President Andrew Christ outlined the chapter’s priorities for the year ahead, emphasizing “smarter planning, stronger protections, and a more stable marketplace for subcontractors”. Christ also highlighted a significant recent legal victory for the subcontracting community in the case of Third Coast Services, LLC & SpawGlass Civil Construction, Inc. v. Castaneda, which the association noted as an encouraging development for industry legal standards.
The newsletter also welcomed new members who joined in December and previewed upcoming educational programming, including webinars on supply chain risk management and labor productivity.
