WASHINGTON – The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and Wesco International celebrated the third year of the Wesco Cares Scholarship Program, which has now supported more than 300 electrical workers.
The program aims to offset the financial burden of trade education and apprenticeship expenses. Michael Parkes, president and CEO of O’Connell Electric Company, noted that the investment has allowed contractors to allocate “additional funding to our workforce training that would have otherwise not been available”.
