TEMPLE — The City of Temple is moving forward with key infrastructure projects, including hosting a groundbreaking ceremony for a new Public Safety Training Center on Dec. 3.

In addition to the new training center, the city is also focusing on parks and recreation planning. The City of Temple launched an online community survey in November 2025 to gather public input for the development of a new Master Plan for James B. Wilson Park, at 2205 Curtis B. Elliot Dr. The feedback collected from residents will help guide the future development of the park.
