AUSTIN — Chris Lyons, President of HOME by Lyons in Amarillo, has been installed as the 79th President of the Texas Association of Builders (TAB).
The installation took place at the Excellence in Leadership Dinner on, Nov. 4, at the Hyatt Regency Austin, the association announced. Lyons, a member of the Texas Panhandle Builders Association, succeeds 2025 President Brett Martin.
Lyons has a lifelong background in the industry. He holds a degree in Business Administration from West Texas A&M University. He launched his company, HOME By Lyons, in 2016, building custom and semi-custom homes in the Texas Panhandle and South Plains.
Lyons has held multiple leadership positions within the Texas Panhandle Builders Association and TAB. In 2019, TAB honored him with the Excellence Under 45 Award.
The installation was conducted by TAB Life Director Paul Lyons and 2025 Texas Housing Hall of Honor inductee Robert Wood.
