McGREGOR — Allied Steel Buildings is ramping up operations at its new manufacturing facility in McGregor, marking a major milestone as the company transitions its headquarters from South Florida to Central Texas.
The highly automated 138,000-sq. ft. plant features a state-of-the-art production line equipped with advanced scanning, sorting, and welding technology designed to improve fabrication speed and quality. The facility recently completed its office spaces and is currently undergoing machine calibration and testing to ensure peak production efficiency.
Company officials cited McGregor’s vast industrial space, proximity to skilled workforces at Baylor University and Texas State Technical College, and the city’s commitment to the McGregor Industrial Park as key factors in their site selection.
