EL PASO — Angelica Rosales, a veteran Texas building executive with Sundt Construction, has been re-appointed to a second consecutive term on the Governor’s Commission for Women.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott finalized the appointment, charging the commission with a strategic focus on making Texas the top state in the nation for women-owned businesses and implementing robust protocols to combat human trafficking across the state. The executive body also drives foster and adoption outreach programs in tandem with the Heart Gallery network.
Rosales, a native El Pasoan, serves as the Texas director of development for Sundt Construction, one of the nation’s largest employee-owned general contracting firms. She brings more than 25 years of project management, infrastructure planning, and corporate business development expertise to the government commission.
Beyond her role at Sundt, Rosales is heavily involved in regional economic and civic leadership, serving as a director for The Texas Lyceum, a board member for The Hospitals of Providence East Campus, vice chair of the Heart Gallery of El Paso, and an advisor to the Borderplex Alliance.
