COLLEGE STATION, Texas — More than 280 companies and over a thousand students connected at the biannual Construction Science Career Fair, according to a report from Texas A&M University.
The event is the largest departmental-level career fair on campus and is a critical opportunity for students, who are required to complete a semester-long internship to graduate.
Recruiters, many of them former students, praised the event.
“I’ve been super impressed with the caliber of students — the respectfulness, the professionalism, just the experience that they’re bringing,” said Jerad Douglas, a 2007 graduate and project executive with the Beck Group. “I know Beck will be better because of the Aggies that we hire”.
Reece Brooks, a 2025 graduate and now a project engineer with McCarthy, said it was “super cool” to return as a recruiter. “I’m pretty excited to be on the other end of it,” Brooks said.
