HOUSTON — Apple accelerates U.S. manufacturing with Mac mini production shifting to a newly expanded facility in Houston later this year.
The move is part of the tech giant’s $600 billion commitment to domestic investments. The new Mac mini production line will double the footprint of Apple’s Houston campus, which already began assembling advanced AI servers in 2025.
While production for international markets will remain in Asia, the Houston plant will assemble units for domestic consumers. To support the expansion, Apple is also constructing a 20,000-sq. ft. Advanced Manufacturing Center on-site to provide hands-on training for students, suppliers, and American businesses. The broader expansion is expected to create thousands of local jobs
