TYLER — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Tyler District has released its construction schedules and project updates in mid-September, highlighting ongoing progress on hundreds of millions of dollars in regional infrastructure.

Among the most significant active developments is the $197.9 million Interstate 20 and State Highway 31 interchange project led by Indus Road and Bridge, Inc. Crews are currently replacing left-hand exits with right-hand exits and constructing a direct connector over I-20, with completion anticipated by May 2030.

Additional notable regional projects include the $12.5 million Loop 281 resurfacing project in Longview by East Texas Bridge, and a $10.5 million project by Pinto Construction to add passing lanes and upgrade State Highway 204 to a super-two highway in Nacogdoches County.
